Step 1
Fry sliced onions in a little oil in. a wok on medium high heat until they get a little color then add the brussel sprouts with half a cup of veggie broth cover with a lid and let them steam cook about 8 minutes until softened

vegetable broth1 cup

Add garlic and the rest of the vegetable broth light soy dark soy oyster sauce toasted sesame oil white pepper date syrup or honey for sweetness and shiaoxing wine and bring to a boil then mix cornstarch with water and pour that on top . Let the sauce thicken for a minute then you can serve . I like to garnish mine with some fresh herbs . Enjoy !
