Instructions
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Line a 15x10x1 pan with parchment paper, foil, or a silicone mat. Line up crackers in a single layer in rows on prepared sheet. 2. Using a candy thermometer, melt butter and brown sugar in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil for 2-3 minutes (270 to 290 degrees if using candy thermometer). Immediately pour over crackers and spread evenly with a spatula. 3. Bake 5 minutes or until the candy hardens. Remove from the oven. 4. Sprinkle with chopped chocolate or chocolate chips. Return to oven for 2 minutes or until chocolate is melted. 5. Sprinkle with toppings of choice and press into the chocolate using a greased spatula. 6. Allow to cool completely then break into pieces. Store in an airtight container. Can also be stored in the refrigerator.
