Step 1
Sautee garlic and onion in oil 3-4 minutes. Add ground beef and cook through. Add tomato paste and stir until beef is coated. Add in diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper, red pepper flakes, and broth. Stir well. Add in dried lentils. Simmer 25 minutes, or until lentils are cooked. Add in chopped spinach, cook 5 more minutes.
