Made famous by Charlie's Red Hots in Mallets Bay, Colchester, VT in the 70's.

Instructions

Step 1
Put everything in the Crock-pot. Cook 2.5 hours slowly. Stir occasionally especially in the beginning to break up the hamburg (somewhat fine).
Step 2
To serve: Open the buns, butter and grill on both sides. Cut the hot dogs in half (length wise) and grill both sides. Put the hot dog on one side of bun after grilled. Cover with the sauce, put mustard and chopped onions on top. Cover with the other half bun.
