Instructions

Step 1
Dice the onion and finely chop the garlic. Silce the tomatoes into cubes and put to the side. If you have a whole chicken, break down into pieces.
Step 2
Get a pan on a medium-high heat and add oil. Sear the chicken for 5-7 mins on both sides until golden brown and crispy.
Step 3
Then put to the side and add the onions. Sweat down and add the garlic. Then squeeze in the tomato puree and stir for a minute or two. Then add the tomatoes and cook down for a further two minutes.
Step 4
Add the paprika and the flour, stir well. Then add the chicken stock bit by bit, whilst continuing to stir until you have a nice thick sauce. Then re-add the chicken and leave to simmer on low for 30-40 minutes.
Step 5
For the dumplings, beat the eggs and the sour cream together. Then add the flour and mix well until you have a thick pancake consitcency. You can add more flour if necessary.
Step 6
Then bring some salted water up to a boil and teaspoon the mixture into the water. Once it floats, you know it’s ready,
Step 7
Garnish with a little parsley and enjoy!
