Crisp Crumbed Tofu

I used Hippeas sweet & smokin’ flavoured snacks for the crisp crumb and served it with: white rice, edamame beans, pickled ginger, nori sheets and sriracha mayo.

Instructions
Step 1
Drain then cut the tofu into slices and marinade in soy sauce for at least 30 mins.
Step 2
Blend Hippeas Snacks (crisps) in a food processor then evenly coat the tofu and set aside whilst you heat the oil in a pan.
Step 3
Fry the crisp crumbed tofu in oil on a consistently medium heat for a few minutes each side, or until golden brown.
Step 4
Once done, place on a kitchen towel to absorb any excess oil. Garnish with chopped green onions and enjoy!
