Instructions
Step 1
Add the buttermilk, garlic powder, pinch of salt and 5 spice to a bowl and mix well. Add the chicken wings and toss well. Pop in the fridge for at least 1 hour or ideally overnight to marinade.
Step 2
Mix the plain flour, cornflour, pinch of salt and cajun spice together and add the chicken wings. Coat them well and shake off any excess flour.
Step 3
Heat the oil to 170c and fry the wings in batches. Cook for 5 minutes or until golden and crispy.
Step 4
Place on a sheet of kitchen paper to remove any excess oil and sprinkle with some salt.
Step 5
Squeeze the honey, sriracha and mayonnaise into a bowl and mix it all together. Add the fried wings into the sauce and toss well. Sprinkle with chopped chives and enjoy.
