Easy Chocolate Mousse

An easy, excellent, and powerfully chocolaty mousse recipe.

Instructions

Step 1
In a pot or saucepan, bring milk to 185 °F to scald milk.
Step 2
Combine scalded milk, chocolate, sugar, vanilla, and coffee granules into blender and blend for 10-15 seconds. Add in the egg and continue blending for another 2 minutes until smooth as silk.
Step 3
Pour mixture into 4, 6 ounce demi-tasse containers, or the container of your choice.
Step 4
Chill at minimum 4 hours or until set.
Step 5
Serve with an optional dollop, or a heaping load, of whipped cream and a sprinkle of nutmeg.
Step 6
Savor and enjoy.
