Instructions
Step 1
Cook the pasta in salted water to al dente, reserve 1 cup pasta water
Step 2
In a skillet add the butter and olive oil and heat over medium heat and add the garlic. (And red pepper flakes I’d using) Cook 30 seconds to 1 minute until the garlic is fragrant.
Step 3
Add 1/2 cup pasta water to stop the garlic from cooking. Salt and pepper to taste and add lemon juice
Step 4
Add the linguine and toss it in the oil sauce, add the parsley and more olive oil if desired
