1 cansardines
0.5onion
sliced
1carrot
sliced
0.25daikon radish
sliced
2green onions
sliced, reserve some for garnish
1 tspneutral oil
sauce
Instructions
Step 1
mix the ingredients for the sauce in a small bowl and set aside
Step 2
add the oil to a pan over medium low heat
Step 3
add the slices of daikon radish to the bottom of the pan
Step 4
add the onion and carrots
Step 5
place the sardines on top of the vegetables
Step 6
pour the sauce on top of the sardines
Step 7
add most of the green onions (reserve rest for garnish) and put the lid on and simmer for 10 minutes
Step 8
remove the lid, spoon the sauce over the sardines and cook for another 10 minutes
Step 9
garnish with remaining green onion and serve with rice
