Marilyn Sultar’s Fruity Eggnog Cake

Imagine a fruit cake that everyone loves. That was my goal creating this cake. It is made with an eggnog cake mix, candied fruit and pecan pieces. To make it even better it is topped with streusel. I have it baking right now. Can’t wait to taste it!

Cake:
Eggnog Quick Bread Mix
3eggs
large
½ cupbutter
softened
¾ cupmilk
1 tspcinnamon
0.5candied fruit mix
1 Tbspflour
¼ cuppecan pieces

Step 1
Cake:
Step 2
Spray a loaf pan with Baker’s Joy and preheat oven to the temperature indicated on box. Bake for amount of time indicated on box.
Step 3
Mix according to package.
Step 4
Put 1 tbsp flour in a plastic bag. Add the fruit. Shake it all up then fold into cake.
Step 5
Fold nuts into cake. Add cinnamon to batter.
Step 6
Pour into sprayed loaf pan.
Step 7
Make topping. Sprinkle on top of cake batter. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Step 8
Bake per box directions.
