Instructions
Step 1
If shrimp is frozen, thaw and peel before beginning and remove tails if desired.
Step 2
Bring a pot of water to boil for pasta. Once boiling, add pasta and cook for 2 minutes under al dente. Reserve a 1/2 cup of pasta water and drain pasta.
Step 3
While the pasta cooks, prepare the shrimp and Alfredo sauce. Place shrimp on cutting board and pat dry with paper towel. Season the shrimp with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Step 4
Add Tbsp butter to a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, swirl to coat. Add shrimp and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side, or just until opaque and pink. Transfer to clean bowl.
Step 5
Add the heavy cream to the skillet and whisk to dissolve the fond. Allow cream to come up to a simmer.
Step 6
Whisk the Parmesan into the hot cream until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 7
Add cooked shrimp and pasta to sauce. Toss to combine and use pasta water if it gets too thick.
