Instructions
Step 1
Saute onion and garlic in a few tablespoons of water for 5 minutes until fragrant.
Step 2
If using an instant pot, add the rest of the ingredients and put on manual, high heat, sealed and cook for 20 min.
Step 3
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Step 4
You can sub bouillon for water.
Step 5
If you use dry beans, soak them in water overnight.
Step 6
If you are cooking on the stove, bring it to a boil, cover it and let it simmer for 20-30 min.
