Vegan Cereal Bars

For this recipe, I used my homemade cannabutter infused at 1000mg/oz, which brought each bar to a grand total of 100mg. I found that vegan marshmallows take a LOT longer to melt so feel free to skip the double boiler method. Also, you may find yourself needing less cereal for options with bigger pieces such as Froot Loops or Cap’n Crunch.

Instructions
Step 1
Line your pan (I used a 9” x 13” pan) with parchment paper.

Over a double boiler or direct low heat, melt your cannabutter/warm your cannaoil.

Cut the marshmallows into smaller pieces and add to your butter.

Keep stirring and breaking up the marshmallows with a spatula until they melt together. I added a splash of water and oil in the pot to speed up the process.
Step 5
Once the mixture is cohesive, turn off the heat and pour in your cereal.
Step 6
Gently fold in the cereal until the marshmallow mixture is evenly dispersed.
Step 7
Use your silicone spatula to scoop everything out onto your parchment paper, then lightly coat a turner spatula with oil and flatten the mixture to fit the pan.

If adding toppings, add these now, and allow treats to chill at room temperature for an hour or in the fridge for half an hour.

(Completely optional) Since I hate waste I added a little water, sugar, and vanilla extract to the pot to dissolve any infused marshmallow still stuck in the pot or on the spatula and boiled it down into a syrup to drizzle on top.

Cut treats into even pieces (I weighed mine out for accurate dosage).

Enjoy! If you’re unfamiliar with dosing I would definitely recommend starting off with a less potent butter/oil or eating 10mg (1/10th of a bar) at a time for medicinal use and 25-50mg for recreational use.
