Step 1
1. Preheat your oven to 350 F

2. Set your cooking pot on stove, set to medium heat. Add tomato juice and a little bit of water (this prevents the juice/sauce from becoming too thick)

3. Put meat into a large container. Add chopped onion, rice, garlic salt and eggs. Mix well.

4. Shape into large meatballs and set aside.
Step 5
5. Clear out your bell peppers and fill with meat to just below the top.
Step 6
6. Add peppers and meatballs to pot.
Step 7
7. Add more tomato juice so that the meatballs are just about covered. Make sure to leave some space in case it boils.
Step 8
8. Place lid on pot and set in oven. Cook until done. This could be anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half depending on the size of your pot. (ShoSho’s pot takes about an hour and a half)
