Instructions
Step 1
Put half of the flour into a bowl and add the yeast, sugar, basil, garlic powder and salt.
Step 2
Add olive oil and warm water (about 37°c-43°c) to the mix and stir it together with a spatula.
Step 3
Gradually add the other half of the flour (if necessary, add a little bit more). The texture should be slightly sticky but not sticking to your hands by much.
Step 4
In a second, larger bowl, brush the surface with olive oil.
Step 5
Shape the dough into a ball and roll it into the larger bowl so that the surface is covered with the oil.
Step 6
Cover the bowl with cling wrap and put it aside for 30 minutes, until it rose to about double the size.
Step 7
Pre-heat the oven to 210°c.
Step 8
After the 30 minutes, tap the dough carefully to push out remaining air.
Step 9
Knead it a little (about 5 times), split it into two portions, and roll it out with a rolling pin.
Step 10
Brush olive oil on the bottom surface of the dough and move it to the baking tray.
Step 11
Add toppings like tomato sauce, shredded cheese, bacon, ham, salami, tuna or whatever else you desire and sprinkle it with oregano.
Step 12
Into the oven for 15-17 minutes and serve.
