Instructions

Step 1
Defrost scallops overnight in the refrigerator.
Step 2
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Step 3
Dissolve the packet of True Lemon in 1 Tbsp + 1 tsp of warm water in a small bowl or ramekin. Pour into a resealable plastic gallon-sized bag.
Step 4
Add olive oil and garlic powder to the lemon mixture. Seal and shake until combined.
Step 5
Take the scallops, rinse if necessary, and thoroughly pat dry. Add them to the lemon mixture in the resealable bag, and shake to coat the scallops.
Step 6
Remove the scallops and place them in a single layer on a baking sheet. Place the baking sheet in the oven for about 10 minutes checking to see when the bottoms begin to brown. Once brown, flip scallops to the other side and bake for approximately 10 additional minutes until the other side is lightly browned.
