Classic meatballs with Coconut Milk

Instructions

Step 1
Turn on the heat. Chop onion and garlic. They should be finely hacked (see video)
Step 2
Add 1 tbsp olive oil to the pan and Fry the onion and garlic with pepper and salt. let them be until coloured.
Step 3
In the meantime, mix the minced meat with salt and pepper in a bowl.
Step 4
Add chiliflakes into the pan and stir.
Step 5
Mix milk and bread crumps separately and add it to the minced meat.
Step 6
Add everything from the pan to the minced meat bowl, then mix it.
Step 7
Roll the meat into balls, to the size of a golfball.
Step 8
Wipe the pan with a towel (don't wash!), add oilive oil and add the meatballs into the sides of the pan.
Step 9
Tilt the pan from side to side to fry the downside of the meatballs in middle heat.
Step 10
Add corriander, cardamon, tumeric and cinamon into the middle of the pan and mix.
Step 11
Add whole dried chilis into the pan.
Step 12
Chop lemon grass, start by smashing the back of the knife over it (see video) then chop it into middle big pieces. Add it to the pan.
Step 13
Chop Ginger into thin pieces and add it to the pan.
Step 14
Turn over the meatballs one by one.
Step 15
Add chicken stock and coconut milk, together they fill 1/2 of the pan. Turn the heat up.
Step 16
Stir it lightly and shake the pan a bit. Give it a taste and Simmer it in 8-10 minutes.
Step 17
Pour over some grated lime over the meat balls. Squeze the rest over the sauce and stir it.
