Instructions

Step 1
Drain your cherries, reserving the juice for later
Step 2
In a mixing bowl, beat your butter on medium speed
Step 3
Continue to beat while adding sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt

Once we’ll combined, beat in one egg and vanilla extract
Step 5
Once we’ll combined, slowly beat in cocoa powder and flour

Make sure you scrape the edges in this process so the flour is well combined. Continue beating until a dough is formed

Shape dough in 1 inch balls and place on a greased cookie sheet 2 inches apart
Step 8
Press your thumb into each cookie, and add in a Cherry
Step 9
Preheat your oven to 350
Step 10
In a saucepan over medium low heat, melt chocolate chips and condensed milk
Step 11
Once melted, stir in cherry juice
Step 12
Spoon chocolate mixture over the top of each cookie/cherry
Step 13
Bake for 10 minutes
Step 14
Let cook on cookie rack
