2 poundground beef
with parsley and onion if preferred

Step 1
Combine all the ingredients for the Dough and kneed until the dough forms cover and put on the side to rest while you cook the meat. In a large skillet over high heat add 1 teaspoon of olive oil, meat and seasoning break it up and cook through. Once the meat is cooked add 1 cup toasted pinenuts and mix well. To prepare the dumplings role out the dough on a floured surface very thin cut out circles with a small cup place a small spoonful of the mixture into the Center of the circle fold in half to create a half moon and pinch the ends then take the two ends and pinch together to create a tortellini like shape. Do that for all the rest of the dough. To prepare the soup mixture place water and plain yogurt into the blender and blend until fully combined pour into a large pot with the yogurt drink mix well over medium high heat. Add in soup seasonings and bring to a soft boil over medium high heat. Then add in your dumplings one at a time and boil them on medium heat for about 20 minutes. Sauté garlic olive oil until golden brown add to the soup and mix well. Boil for an additional five minutes then serve with a sprinkle of toasted pinenuts and additional sprinkle of meat mixture if preferred and enjoy 😋
