Instructions

Step 1
1. Preheat the oven to 375°.

2. Stir together the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper. Whisk together the egg and tomato paste (if using).

3. Add breadcrumbs and whisked egg to ground turkey. Use your hands to mix until just combined. Do not over-mix or compact the meat if possible. Overmixing leads to tougher meatballs.

4. Use a rounded tablespoon to roll into meatballs. You should get between 16-20 meatballs. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Step 5
5. Brush the meatballs with olive oil. Bake for 13-16 minutes until cooked through.
