Instructions
Step 1
Mash the bananas into a thin purée. I didn’t use ripe bananas here but you can if that is what you have on hand.
Step 2
Add oatmeal, flour and baking powder to the banana jar. Mix just until combined and let rest at room temperature for 10 minutes.
Step 3
Add in milk a tablespoon at a time. You may not need all of it to reach a typical pancake batter consistency.
Step 4
Place the baby food into a piping bag or ziploc bag with the tip cut open. Set aside.
Step 5
Heat your griddle to 375 degrees.
Step 6
Ladle the batter in 1/4 cup amounts onto the griddle.
Step 7
Pipe a swirl of baby food onto the pancake and let absorb into the batter slightly before flipping.
Step 8
Cook until fully browned on both sides. The side with the baby food will darken quicker than the rest of the batter.
