1 TbspCurry Powder
Mix powder
1 TspHot Chilli Powder
Extra
1 TspTandoori Masala Powder
3Cardamom Pods
Seeds from
¼ tspblack pepper
1 TspTomato Puree
Mix with water
300mlcurry base
watered down
1 tspkasoori methi
2 TbspCoconut Milk Powder
NOT DESICCATED COCONUT
2 tspsugar
¼ tspsalt
Fresh Coriander
Garnish, Optional
1 tspbutter ghee
melted in at the end
Instructions
Step 1
Heat pan, once hot add oil to cover base of pan
Step 2
Turn down heat slightly, add onions and soften around 4-5 mins
Step 3
Add garlic and ginger paste, stir through
Step 4
Add mix powder, chilli powder, tandoori masala powder, cardamom pods and black pepper, stir through and cook for seconds
Step 5
Add tomato puree, stir through and then add a touch of base gravy, cook for 1-2 mins
Step 6
Add methi leaves, stir through and then add a touch more base gravy. Stir through again and add coconut powder
Step 7
Add approx 150ml base gravy, cook through for 2 mins adding sugar and salt
Step 8
Add pre-cooked chicken and approx 150ml base gravy, cook through
