Lemon Pepper Wings with Blue Cheese Dip

Instructions

Step 1
Begin with grating the lemons and placing the zest on baking paper in a baking tray. Set your oven on a low temperature 100c/210f. Place in the oven for 10-12 minutes but keep a close eye on them. You don't want to burn!
Step 2
Remove from the oven and add to a pestle and mortar. Add the peppercorns, salt, onion powder, garlic powder and green onion seasoning. Grind until smooth and leave to the side.
Step 3
For the dip, add the sour cream, blue cheese and mayonnaise to a mixing bowl. Finely chop the parsley and squeeze the lemon. Mix together and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 4
Dry the wings with paper towel and place into a large mixing bowl. Add the cornstarch, smoked paprika and salt. Combine well.
Step 5
Heat the oil to 180c/350f. Fry the wings for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
Step 6
Melt the butter and grate in the clove of garlic.
Step 7
Add the wings to a mixing bowl and add 2 tbsp of the lemon pepper seasoning along with the garlic butter. Mix well.
Step 8
Serve with the blue cheese dip on the side and enjoy!
