Instructions
Step 1
Add the flour, sugar, salt and yeast to a mixing bowl. Set aside for 10 minutes.
Step 2
Sieve in the flour, mix together and at the end add the olive oil. Knead for 10 minutes, then cover and set aside for 40 minutes.
Step 3
In a different mixing bowl, combine grated cheese, flour and water. Mash using a potato masher.
Step 4
Divide the dough into 3 equal segments and roll each one out into an oval.
Step 5
Place 1-2 tbsp cheese around the edges of each oval, and fold them in to make a boat shape. Add the rest of the cheese in the centre, and brush the edges with an egg yolk.
Step 6
Bake at 350 degrees F/180 degrees C for 20 minutes. Then, place an egg yolk in the centre of each boat and bake for 10 minutes more.
