Step 1
Mix together the red pepper flakes, pepper, salt, paprika, and sugar in a bowl.
Step 2
Heat the oil in frying pan over a medium heat. Cook the onions for 5-6 minutes.
Step 3
Add the garlic and fry for 2 minutes.
Step 4
Add the dry spice mix to the pan and mix well for 2-3 minutes.
Step 5
Add the beans, chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, Worcester sauce and balsamic vinegar to the pan and bring to a simmer.
Step 6
Simmer for 10-15 minutes until the sauce has thickened to the desired consistency.
