Vegan Tempeh Bolognese
I promise you no one will notice that this bolognese is COMPLETELY vegan 🙌🏻 It's packed with plant based protein and makes the perfect simple and healthy weeknight dinner!

Instructions
Step 1
Crumble or chop tempeh and set aside. I use an onion chopper.
Step 2
Using the same chopping tool or method, chop your onion and dice your garlic.
Step 3
In a pan over medium heat, sauté onion and garlic in 1 tablespoon of olive oil until translucent.
Step 4
Add in your chopped or crumbled tempeh, 1 more tablespoon of olive oil, salt and pepper, and Italian seasoning and cook until lightly golden brown.
Step 5
Once slightly golden brown, add in your pasta sauce, reduce heat to low and simmer for about 6-8 min.
Step 6
While sauce is simmering, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook your pasta according to the instructions .
Step 7
Drain the pasta and plate with your vegan bolognese sauce on top.
Step 8
Top with nutritional yeast.
