Fool Proof Air Fryer Salmon and Asparagus

Step 1
Start prepping your salmon buy cutting into desired portions, I cut into 1.5” strips or roughly in half.
Step 2
Dry salmon portions throughly with a paper towel. Do not skip this! This yields crispy delicious salmon instead of soggy salmon
Step 3
Season salmon with salt and pepper on both sides. Leave the skin side down.

Apply a thin coat of mayo or olive oil. Don’t leave out the sides.
Step 5
Sprinkle with Italian season, garlic powder, paprika, and light rub of brown sugar. (If you like it spicy, chili powder or red pepper flakes are great here!)
Step 6
Place skin side down in the air fryer for 10 min at 400deg
Step 7
When 5 min remain, toss in the asparagus, and squeeze everything with a bit of lemon juice.
