Healthy Chocolate syrup “ low carb low sugar “

I’m the only one in my house on a diet clean eating an I love chocolate milk but sadly due to the carbs an sugar intake I can’t have it so here’s a healthier Verison I made so I could drink my milk every day still ingredient brands will be listed as well an the type of milk I drink to help keep the carbs an sugar down

Instructions

Step 1
In a medium saucepan whisk together the brown sugar, granulated sugar, cocoa powder and salt until combined. Add the water and whisk until combined and no lumps remain.
Step 2
Heat the mixture over medium heat and bring to a boil, whisking often. Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer, stirring occasionally, for five minutes, until the mixture is slightly thickened.
Step 3
Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the vanilla. Pour the sauce into a mason jar or other lidded container, let it cool to room temperature, and cover and refrigerate.
Step 4
Stir in a spoonful or two of the syrup into a glass of milk (adjust the amount of chocolate syrup depending on how chocolatey you like your milk).
Step 5
The brands I use “ brown sugar Splenda or trivia “ regular granulated sugar Splenda an stevia “ cocoa Hershey or Ghirardelli an Kroger/Great value “ salt regular or no salt alternative “ vanilla either store brand or name brand no biggie to me an finally milk my favorites are “ Silk & planet oat oatmilk any of silk brand is amazing the oatmilk & almond & coconut but also planet oat if you want creamy thick milk best in baking or milkshake unlike silk where it’s thinner but healthier
