Instructions
Cook the pasta
Step 1
Bring a pot of water to a boil and season with a pinch of salt.
Step 2
Add in the pasta and boil.
Make the sauce
Step 3
Crush 2 cloves of garlic into the pan and fry until fragrant
Step 4
Add in the 125g of bacon bits, and fry until almost cooked (they'll cook more in the sauce)
Step 5
Throw in the 250ml of cooking cream and cook until bubbles start forming.
Step 6
When the cream has reached a boil, take off the heat and pop in 1 egg yolk. Stir the egg in rapidly to avoid the egg scrambling and combine with the sauce.
Step 7
Add in a decent amount of grated parmesan while stirring until combined with the sauce.
Add in the pasta
Step 8
Drain the pasta and add into the sauce
Serve & enjoy!
Step 9
Add salt and pepper to taste, remember to try it before you add any as the bacon and parmesan can already be quite salty. Enjoy!
