Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C (355°F), 160°C fan (320°F), gas mark 4.
Step 2
Place the turkey breast steaks on a baking tray, spray with cooking spray and sprinkle over 1 tsp of the Chinese 5-spice onto both sides of the steaks. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes, until cooked through and crisp, turning halfway through cooking.

Step 3
Meanwhile, place the rest of the Chinese 5-spice, soy sauce, granulated sweetener, and balsamic vinegar in a small saucepan, reserving 2 tsp of the balsamic vinegar for the end. Place over a medium heat, stirring regularly, and reduce by half, taking care not to burn the sauce. This will take around 4-5 minutes. Keep warm until ready to serve. If it becomes cool and starts to over-thicken, reheat with a couple of tbsp of water to loosen.

Step 4
Once the turkey is cooked, remove it from the oven. (At this point, the turkey can be frozen once cooled – defrosted fully before reheating.)
Step 5
Slice the cooked turkey into strips or shred with forks. Cut the white wraps into quarters. Onto each quarter place some crispy turkey, some cucumber and spring onions. Drizzle over a little of the sauce – it is very strong in flavour so a little goes a long way!
