Instructions
Step 1
Dice onion & brown in large frying pan.
Step 2
Add mincemeat, once browned add mixed veg, tomato puree, Worcester sauce & salt & pepper. Dissolve beef stock pot in half pint of water. Add to pan. Bring to boil then take off heat and add thickening granuals to your preference.
Step 3
Transfer to an oven proof casserole dish (no lid required)
Step 4
Make the dumplings and place on top of mincemeat.
Step 5
Put in a preheated fan oven 200c for 20-25 minutes. To brown dumplings (crunchies) place dish under a preheated grill for a few minutes.
Step 6
Serve with creamy mashed potatoes & peas. Additional gravy optional.
