Instructions

Step 1
Chop kadafai pastry in a bowl. Add softened butter and food colour. Mix well and set aside.
Step 2
In a bowl, cracked eggs, add sugar and whisk, add milk, vanilla extract, double cream and whisk.
Step 3
Now take two bread slices. Stuff thickened cream and mozzarella cheese on the middle of the slice, secure with other bread slice on top.
Step 4
Dip in egg mixture. Then dip in Kunafa mixture and cover generously.
Step 5
Now add a little butter in a frying pan. Fry the bread slices both sides 2/3 minutes on medium heat.
Step 6
Sprinkle chopped pistachios and drizzle honey / maple syrup. Serve hot.
