A diner favourite. Mixing up a large batch of meat means meatloaf for one meal and meatballs for another meal later on. Pair with your favourite mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables

Instructions

Step 1
Heat oven to 425F
Step 2
Saute onions until soft and caramelized.
Step 3
In a large mixing bowl combine sauteed onion, bread crumbs, beef stock, eggs, ketchup, worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Mix well.

Add beef and mix with your hand until evenly mixed and thoroughly combined.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper

Shape 20 meatballs the size of golf balls and use the remaining meat mixture to shape a loaf about 6” wide and 3-4” high.
Step 7
Place loaf and meatballs on the parchment lined sheet and bake for 40 minutes total
Step 8
Remove meatballs after 20 minutes of cooking.
Step 9
Remove loaf after 30 minutes, coat with the glaze
Step 10
Return to the oven for 10 minutes
Step 11
Remove from the oven and rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing
