Combine mined beef, fried onion, beef stock cube, 2 tbsp smoked paprika, garlic powder, mustard powder, salt and pepper

Step 3
Form 4 large burger patties from the mixture and place on a baking sheet under the grill in the oven turning occasionally until cooked through. Adding sliced cheese towards the end of cooking. Handy tip! Roll the burger mix into 4 large balls, place each one between two sheets of baking paper and squish with the bottom of a saucepan. Make them thinner than desired as they will shrink during cooking.

Slice and toast the burger buns lightly

I like a fresh coleslaw on the side here is my quick recipe for it. Finely slice the white cabbage, carrots, red onion. Mix with low fat yogurt, chopped parsley and squeeze in the juice of 1 lime. Serve on the side.
