Instructions
Step 1
In a large pot or dutch oven- add olive oil, chicken bones and veggies. Cook over medium-high heat until they start to golden brown (5-10 minutes)
Step 2
Scrap bottom of pot using spatula to get all the brown bits off. Cover with water and add bay leaves, salt and pepper
Step 3
Cover and simmer for 6-8 hours, stirring occasionally.
Step 4
When broth is a deep golden color, stir in apple cider vinegar and turn off the heat and let cool.
Step 5
Strain out the vegetables, taste and season with more salt and pepper if needed.
Step 6
Divide into quart containers and store in the fridge for up to a week or the freezer for 3 months.
Step 7
You can sip and enjoy or save to add to your favorite recipes!
