Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Step 2
In a large bowl, cream the butter, margarine, and sugar until light and fluffy.
Step 3
Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Step 4
Combine flour, pudding mix and baking soda.
Step 5
Gradually add to the creamed mixture, mix well.
Step 6
Stir in chocolate chips.
Step 7
Drop rounded spoonfuls (or a small scoop) 1 inch apart onto parchment paper.
Step 8
Bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly brown.
Step 9
Leave on baking sheet for a few minutes, or transfer to cooling rack.
Step 10
You can pull them out of the oven when lightly browned and/or even when they don't look completely done. Allow them to continue cooking on the baking sheet for a few minutes before removing.
