Instructions

Step 1
heat olive oil in pan over medium heat
Step 2
place halved brussel sprouts face down into warmed oil
Step 3
Allow to cook until slightly browned (~5 minutes)
Step 4
Add garlic powder, black pepper, soy sauce and saute for (1-2 minutes)
Step 5
Add liquid smoke and vegetable broth, cover and allow to steam (~10 minutes); if broth evaporates, add more and continue steaming as necessary
