Instructions

Calamari

Step 1
First, put all the dry ingredients in a bowl and mix them briefly. Then add the egg and water and whisk everything. Depending on the size of the egg you need more or less water. The batter should be slightly thinner than pancake batter.
Step 2
Heat the oil in a small pot. Set the heat to high.
Step 3
Bread the calamari one by one with the batter and put them directly into the hot oil. Fry them for about 3min until they are crispy and golden brown.

Sandwich

Step 4
Slice the baguette and spread the bottom half with mayonnaise.
Step 5
Top it with the fried calamari and drizzle on the lemon juice.
Step 6
Stack the other bread half on top and enjoy!
