Visited local Chinese restaurant for lunch and as I was looming through the menu, I saw “french style beef” which is usually cubed beef with mushrooms coated in a oyster/black pepper sauce cooked in a wok. Made me realize I been doing a lot of seafood recipes, going to try to do other wok recipes.

Instructions
Step 1
Cube choice of beef into 1/4 inch cubes
Step 2
Combine cubed beef, oyster sauce, soy sauce, cooking wine, black pepper, water, and corn starch.
Step 3
Marinate for approximately 15 minutes
Step 4
In a hot pan, add oil
Step 5
Pour in marinated beef along with the excess liquid and chopped garlic
Step 6
sauté for approximately 1 minute
Step 7
Add in mushrooms and onions, incorporate and sauté for additional minute
Step 8
Garnish with green onions
