serves 4 as an appetizer, promised myself I'd never make it again but I keep making it 😔. Every time I make this I wish I was dead because rolling out the dough is so annoying and messy. Instructions
Step 1
knead flour, water and pinch of salt for 3-4 minutes, until dough is smooth. Cover and let rest for 10 mins

boil minced soya with ½ tsp salt until soft
Step 3
chop cabbage, add ½ tbsp salt and let rest for a few minutes
Step 4
squeeze excess water from cabbage
Step 5
rinse the cabbage
Step 6
mix cabbage, soya, cilantro,minced garlic, chilis, hoisin sauce, sesame oil and soy sauce together
Step 7
roll the kneaded flour into a log and divide into 32 even pieces
Step 8
dust the dough and the surface with flour generously and roll each piece out into approximately 2.5" circles, with thinner ends.
Step 9
place about a table spoon of the soya mixture in the middle of each circle, fold in half and press the dough edges together
Step 10
optional: fold the edges by pinching and overlapping but this is not necessary
Step 11
heat oil in a pan with a flat surface, add the now filled dumplings and let cook for 3-4 minutes or until the bottom is brown
Step 12
add ¼ cup of water and cover for 7 minutes
