Instructions
Making cookie dough
Step 1
Making this cookie dough is super easy.In one bowl mix with mixer butter, eggs, honey, vanilla extract and sugar.Than add flour and baking soda.Mix it all with a spatula than knead it by hand.Knead a dough on board sprikled with flour a little than put dough in bag and put it in a freezer for 1 hour or in fridge over night. When dough is chilled take it out from bag knead it a little on board, that roll it with a rolling pin on about 5 mm of thickness.then use the cookie cutters to remove the desired shapes. Then arrange the cookies in a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 150 ° C for 15 minutes. Cool them decorate them with royal icing or beads or you can watch on which YouTube channel how I did.
Royal icing
Step 2
Royal mixture is also easy to prepare. I like to first make a thick mass and then dilute it with a tablespoon of water for filling the biscuits. First, whisk the egg whites to get a foam with mixer. Then add lemon juice to this foam. Mix until you get even stronger foam and then gradually add powdered sugar. I use 400 gr of powdered sugar on 2 egg whites. However, I made this thick mass first. For each color I take 2 tablespoon of mixture to a small bowl then 1 to 2 teaspoons of water and so I would get that liquid filling mixture.I used plain edible powder paints from bags I dissolved in water.
