Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C; 180 Fan and butter and flour the inside of 2 ramekins
Step 2
Melt 1 tbsp, 2 tsp butter in a saucepan over low heat
Step 3
Stir the flour into the butter until golden brown and fragrant (~2 minutes)
Step 4
Pour in the milk and and stir until smooth and pulling away from the pan (~4 minutes); remove from the heat and place in a bowl
Step 5
Stir the Grand Marnier and orange into the mix before adding the egg yolks and vanilla, and stirring until smooth
Step 6
Whisk the egg whites until frothy, gradually add the sugar, and whisk until you have glossy, barely firm peaks (not stiff)
Step 7
Fold half the meringue into the egg mix until combined; gently fold in the next half until we'll mixed
Step 8
Transfer to the ramekins and cook for 16 minutes
