Whipped Cream Cheese Frosting
1 step
Prep:10min
If you don’t like regular buttercream (too sweet!) but want a quick and easy frosting that is stable, this whipped cream cheese frosting is for you! It feels so light because of the heavy cream, and since it doesn’t require sugar to stabilize it, it’s subtly sweet and you can control the sweetness. The cream cheese makes it more stable and adds a tangy flavor that compliments a lot of baked good! You can add any flavor extract or fruit powders without changing the texture.

Step 1
Cream your room temperature cream cheese, powdered sugar, and flavor extract until mixture is smoothly combined. On low speed, gradually add your cold heavy cream until it’s just combined and increase the speed to whip until stiff peaks are formed. Enjoy!
