Instructions

Step 1
Brown the sausage, drain the fat.
Step 2
Cook the bacon, set aside on paper towels for later. Drain some of the fat from the pan, use the rest to cook the garlic and onion till tender.
Step 3
In a large kettle add chicken broth and potatoes and bring to a boil till tender. Add in the garlic, onion, kale and sausage. Simmer to meld the flavors and cook the kale.
Step 4
Add bacon and cream right before serving. serve with bread sticks and a caesar salad with caesar dressing from lighthouse.
