Delicious chunky Tuna meatballs that take only a couple of minutes to make and the delicious Smokey sauce is great with a chunk of crusty bread dunked in.

Step 1
Place a sieve over a bowl then Drain the oil from 2 cans of tuna in olive oil . If you can’t get tuna in olive oil use what you have but this has the best flavor . You can use the drained oil for salad dressing or add garlic and drizzle over toasted bread .

Step 2
Add 1 clove of crushed garlic and 3 tbsp of finely chopped onion finely chopped scallions chilli flakes smoked paprika breadcrumbs eggs salt and black pepper and mix until it has made a firm tuna paste . Now roll into balls and fry in olive oil over medium heat . Don’t love them for a few minutes so they get a nice seal and golden color . Flip then then cook 2 more minutes and remove from the pan .

Step 3
Add the other half of the chopped onion with 3 cloves of minced garlic into the same pan . Add a little more olive oil if necessary. Fry five minutes then add 1/2 tsp of smoked paprika and 1 can of chopped tomatoes . Sprinkle with salt and pepper then toss back in the Tuna meatballs and simmer for 2-3 minutes . To serve garnish with some herbs or more chopped scallions and enjoy
