Air Fried Piri Piri Hot Hot Wings

Instructions

Step 1
Separate the wings into drums and flats and add them to a bowl.
Step 2
Add two tablespoons of lemon juice to the bowl and mix with the wings.
Step 3
Apart from the cornflour add in all the marinade ingredients and mix and coat the wings. Set aside and allow to marinate while you make the Piri Piri Sauce.
Step 4
Roughly chop all the sauce ingredients and add to a blender. ( choose the number of chillis you add to suit your taste, also remove or leave the seeds in again according to taste)
Step 5
Blend the ingredients into a paste and set aside.
Step 6
Preheat your air fryer for about 2-3 minutes at 200 degrees.
Step 7
Sprinkle the cornflour over the marinated chicken wings a tablespoon at a time, this avoids clumping.
Step 8
Not open the air fryer and spray with oil, spray the wings with oil and add them to the air fryer, spray with oil again and then cook for 15mins at 200 degrees turning the wings halfway through.
Step 9
After 15 minutes take out the wings and add to a bowl.
Step 10
Spoon in 2-3 tbsp of the sauce over the wings and then toss/ mix coating the wings in the sauce.
Step 11
Return the wings to the air fryer and cook for a further 10 minutes.
Step 12
Serve, lick you’re lips and enjoy.
