Instructions
Step 1
Cook sausage and beef and onion; drain and add to pot. If adding bacon, cook until crispy and drain, crumble, and add to the pot. Drain and rinse beans and add them as well.
Step 2
Add remaining ingredients. Make sure brown sugar is well mixed so it doesn't sink to the bottom and burn.
Step 3
Cover and cook using one of these methods:
• slow cook on low for 8 hours
• slow cook on high for 5 hours
• pressure cook on high for 10 minutes
