Ramadan is here and my all time favorite soup is lentil soup especially during the month of Ramadan. I make it almost everyday for the entire month of Ramadan and the days I don’t make it is because we have some leftover from the day before….
——ingredients——
-2 cups of red lentil (rinsed)
-1 large potato
-1 small onion
-6 cups of water
-1/4 cup oil
-1/2 cup of vermicelli
-1/2 teaspoon of turmeric
-1/2 teaspoon of curry powder
-1 tablespoon of chicken bouillon
-2 more cups of water

-2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
-1/2 teaspoon of paprika
-1/2 teaspoon of dried mint
