Instructions
Step 1
Place the following one top of one another: napa cabbage leaf → sliced beef → perilla leaf → sliced beef → napa cabbage leaf. Once this is layered, cut this into 4 equal pieces.
Step 2
Place bean sprouts or bok choy at the bottom of your nabe pot.
Step 3
Then place the layers (sliced side up), around the edge of your nabe pot. Do this continuously until you fill to the middle.
Step 4
Add enoki mushrooms in the middle to fill it.
Step 5
Add your dashi broth, sake, and soy sauce to the pot.
Step 6
Cover, and bring it to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer for about 10 minutes.
Step 7
Serve with rice and enjoy! (You can also use the rest of the broth with noodles later!)
